If you will be in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Friday evening, March 6th, please join us at the Artists for Art gallery for the opening of this exhibit, featuring my reportage work, and the work of two other talented illustrators, Kevin McCloskey and Chris Spollen. The reception is from 6pm to 9 pm, would love to see you there! And on Saturday, March 7th, stop by for the AFA Afternoon of Art, including workshops by Chris Spollen and myself. The Artists for Art gallery is located at 514 Lackawanna Avenue, in Scranton PA. Click HERE for more info!

Hi Veronica,
i’m very interested in your workshop but unfortunately the site doesn’t have any info, is there any other way to get more details?
sincerely helena
nevermind, got the info via email from AFA – feel free to delete both of my posts :)
Hi Helena, just saw both of your posts – I’m glad you got the info about the workshop on Saturday, hope to see you there!
Hi, Veronica,
I found you while Googling “Sketchbook Skool.” Scranton is my hometown, but alas, I didn’t make it to AFA on Friday, or Saturday. I’m under the weather with a cold. :(
Do you know if there’s a Scranton “chapter” of Urban Sketchers? Looking for some kindred souls. I also would love to find someone in the Scranton area who teaches sketching/watercolor journaling.
Hi Sandra, Sorry to hear you are sick! The show at AFA will be up all month if you’d like to check it out. I will be leading a drawing workshop in Scranton on Sunday afternoon, March 29th, from 2 – 5 pm, will be posting more info on my blog very soon and I hope you can make it out then! For now, drink plenty of orange juice and get some rest, hope you feel better soon. Best, Veronica
Thanks for your quick reply! Unfortunately, I work every Sunday afternoon and can’t get someone else to cover my shift. But I may be able to make it to the show.
Thanks for the good wishes. I’m still under the weather but this too shall pass. :)
