I was very honored to be chosen by Canson paper from among the 100 Urban Sketchers correspondents to represent their Pure White Paper in an advertisement that is appearing in the November issue of Juxtapoz magazine. The ad features a reportage of New York City, including Times Square and the Life Cafe on Ave. B (drawings below.) Thanks to Kimberly of Canson and Gabi of Urban Sketchers!
While I was drawing this picture of the Life Cafe, the owner came out to see what I was doing. He is an artist as well, who used Canson papers! : ) I like when things like that happen.

Hi Veronica, You know I am a big fan of your art, these New York ones are so good. Canson ran a promotion on Facebook, post a drawing and they would choose a winner and send a prize. I posted a drawing and got a big box of wonderful sketchbooks, pads, art boards etc. I believe they sent to everyone who entered. Great products. Congrats on your Juxtapoz deal. Cheers, Don McNulty
